CPC, ACN MERGER SUCCESS DEPENDS ON BUHARI - TINUBU

As the merger talk between CPC and ACN - two political opposition parties in Nigeria thickens, the national leader of ACN has disclosed to top Nigerians who are exited about the June fixed date that the success or otherwise of it is majorly in the hand of Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Retrd.).

"We have tried this before, but give and take is the rule of relationship. We have strength, CPC also has. But in certain area, one must be ready to conceed. Time, I believe will tell."

He does not have to be the Presidential Candidate. I am qualified to contest, yet I allowed a younger, vibrant candidate to contest in 2010. To move forward, we must have new thinking, fresh ideas. Let us wait and see."
